Colombian duo lead Atlético Morelia to 2-1 victory
Atlético Morelia fought back from an early goal down to secure a 2-1 victory over C.D. Tapatío in the Liga MX on Saturday.
The visitors took the lead through a stunning strike from Jesus Orozco in the 18th minute, but the home side leveled through a header from Colombian defender Elvis Martínez in the 25th minute.
Colombian midfielder Robert Mejía then grabbed the winner for Atlético Morelia in the 65th minute, firing home a low shot into the bottom corner to secure all three points for his side.
The victory sees Atlético Morelia move up to fifth place in the Liga MX standings, while C.D. Tapatío remain in 13th place.
