Bill Overbeck’s Borrowed Time Perk Revamp
What Does it Do?
Borrowed Time is a unique perk belonging to Bill Overbeck. It allows the user to take a protection hit for an unhooked survivor, preventing them from going into the dying state if they would otherwise have been downed. The perk has three tiers, with each tier increasing the duration of the protection effect. At Tier I, the protection effect lasts for 6 seconds, at Tier II it lasts for 8 seconds, and at Tier III it lasts for 10 seconds. In addition, at Tier III, the perk also increases the movement speed of the unhooked survivor by 10%.
How to Use It
To use Borrowed Time, the user must first unhook a survivor. Once the survivor is unhooked, the user will have a short window of time to activate the perk. To do this, the user must simply take a hit for the unhooked survivor. If the user is hit within this window of time, the unhooked survivor will not go into the dying state, and the Borrowed Time perk will be activated.
Conclusion
Borrowed Time is a powerful perk that can be used to save the lives of unhooked survivors. It is a particularly useful perk for players who like to play as support characters, as it allows them to protect their teammates from being downed.
